DAR Art Reception:
Featuring the Works of Col. John W. Thomason

This week, as a part of the Daughter of the American Revolution's Constitution Week, the Wynne Home will be having a reception that will display the paintings, sketches, and literary works of Col. John W. Thomason.
Soloist Amber Jamison and DAR members Jan Cole and Kim Davis will also be performing music from WWI, WWII, the Civil War, as well as some of Col. Thomason's favorite songs.
Lieutenant Colonel John William Thomason, Jr. was born in Huntsville, Texas is 1893 and died on March 12, 1944. Along with his extensive military career, Col. Thomason was also the author and illistrator of several books and magazine stories.
